Ghanaian Delegation Visits PSL Machinery’s Headquarter In Vietnam

PSL Machinery recently welcomed high-level delegation from Ghana to its headquarters in Vietnam, marking an important milestone in the growing cooperation between the two countries in agro-processing and cashew industry development. The visit reaffirmed the shared commitment of both sides to promoting sustainable industrial growth, technology transfer, and long-term investment in Africa’s agricultural processing sector.

PSL Machinery and Ghanaian delegation had strategic conversation at the headquarter.

The Ghanaian delegation was led by Dr. Andrews Osei Okrah, Chief Executive Officer of the Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA). Accompanying the delegation were H.E. Mrs. Florence Buerki Akonor, Ghanaian High Commissioner to Malaysia, and Ms. Alexandra Asiamah, Head of Chancery of the Ghana High Commission in Malaysia. Their visit reflected Ghana’s strong interest in expanding international partnerships and accelerating the modernization of its cashew processing industry through advanced technology and strategic collaboration.

During the meeting, Mr. John Azar, Chairman of PSL Group, together with the PSL Machinery leadership team, held extensive discussions with the Ghanaian delegation on the future of cashew processing in Ghana. The discussions focused on improving processing capacity, enhancing operational efficiency, and developing a sustainable value chain that can support the country’s long-term agricultural and industrial objectives. Both sides also exchanged insights on technology integration, cashew factories construction, and opportunities to strengthen local processing capabilities in line with global industry standards.

The visit also continued the relationship established earlier this year when PSL Machinery participated in the Ghana Tree Crops Investment Summit 2026 as an honoured guest of the Ghanaian government delegation. That engagement opened new opportunities for cooperation between PSL Machinery and Ghana’s key agricultural authorities, while also highlighting the company’s growing role in supporting agro-processing development across international markets.

Mr. John Azar, Chairman of PSL Group, presented commemorative souvenirs to Dr. Andrews Osei Okrah during the visit.

Representatives from both sides described the meeting as a significant step toward deeper cooperation between PSL Machinery and TCDA. The discussions laid the groundwork for a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will focus on strengthening bilateral collaboration, supporting sustainable growth in Ghana’s cashew processing industry, and expanding development opportunities across West Africa. Through this partnership, PSL Machinery continues to reinforce its position as a trusted technology partner for the global agro-processing sector and a long-term contributor to industrial development in emerging agricultural markets.
